The game show consisted of teams of contestants battling against a computer loaded with the tactics of the greatest military minds of all time. Within the game, tens of thousands of characters engage in combat, whilst being commanded by players in real-time.

Played through two operators and commanded by the generals on a giant screen. It was enjoyed by millions of viewers UK and Europe and hailed as a successful innovative mix of real history with game show entertainment.

The show was produced by Lion Television, with PlayGen taking a graphics supervision role. It featured the Total War Engine from Creative Assembly for all battleground graphics.
