The Challenge

Today, many conference attendees no longer just want to sit and listen to lectures, panels and talks, they want engagement. They want to engage with the presenter, with each other and with the content. They want to be more actively involved in the conference.

Our Approach

We have over ten years experience in developing social applications, we tailor make each project to our clients specifications. We engage with clients to help them understand how social applications can help solve their problem in a multi-player online environment.

What we did

We developed the Twitter Conference App, a game that encourages attendees at conference events to contribute their thoughts, as well as connect and playfully interact with other guests and event showcases.

Users play by simply tweeting a hash tag keyword (e.g. #gameevent) followed by a predefined command on their twitter accounts. The application listens for tweets with the hash tag keyword to perform actions, which are then shown on screens throughout the event. The users are added to a database and compete with one another to be the highest scored player.

The overall goal of this application is to collect information, connect people together and rate events or presentations at the conference in a fun and innovative manner.

The benefits

  • Increases the promotion of the conference through social networks such as twitter, facebook and linkedin.
  • Encourages networking between conference attendees
  • Engages participants with events, allowing them to actively participate and utimately gain more from the conference.
  • Allows the conference hosts to gather important information, including what attendees liked or didn’t like (through rating events, speakers and presentations)

Deeper engagement for your users, using Gamification.
